Senior Project Manager – Intelligent Traffic Solutions

Our U.S. team is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong client relationship-building and project management skills. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about Intelligent Traffic Solutions and committed to creating sustainable smart cities where people, goods, and data travel safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams or multiple project teams to successful outcomes.
  • Plan, monitor, and report on projects to ensure alignment with agreed thresholds and objectives.
  • Oversee project performance, including financials, schedule, and quality.
  • Define project scope of work in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Conduct change order management and risk management planning.
  • Develop and maintain project management plans, schedules, budgets, and estimates.
  • Track and mitigate risks through risk management plans and registers.
  • Ensure adherence to defined quality requirements and document control standards.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and accounting teams to ensure full project awareness and compliance with PMO protocols.
  • Maintain alignment of requirements documents, design documents, user manuals, training materials, and release notes before customer delivery.
  • Organize and facilitate Scrum activities (e.g., planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives) while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Lead requirements gathering, design meetings, scope management, UAT coordination, and deployments.
  • Perform resource planning, forecasting, and day-to-day project task coordination.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to resolve resource allocation and delivery issues.
  • Manage client relationships and coordinate customer meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced functionality and potential new tasks to benefit the client.
  • Collaborate with Business Development on new opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for clients.
  • Develop proposals, contracts, sub-consultant agreements, task orders, and statements of work.
  • Prepare and approve customer status reports and invoicing.
  • Maintain comprehensive project status updates for stakeholders and management reporting.
  • Contribute to proposal development for new project management activities.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Traffic, Civil, Transportation, Electrical) or Computer Science; a Master’s degree or professional registration is preferred.
  • PMP Certification required; CSM certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Intelligent Transportation Systems projects.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing IT projects across the full software development lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of experience with ITIL and operational management methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience managing multi-phase, multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Proven ability to lead teams of 5+ developers and total team sizes of 8+ members.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with Java programming is a plus.
  • Understanding of business development and marketing practices.
