Jacobs seeks an experienced Sr Project Controls Professional for site-based work across Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, Corpus Christi, TX, and other U.S. locations. The role focuses on cost control, forecasting, and reporting within a dedicated project controls team.

Responsibilities include leading cost and progress forecasting, managing budgets, scope changes, and contractor pay applications, with EVMS tracking and strong collaboration across vendors and construction teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in project controls and cost management.
• Experience with EVMS and earned value reporting.
• Familiar with construction contracts and pay applications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of cross‑functional collaboration.
• Willingness and ability to travel for on-site assignments.
• Equivalency for degree accepted in lieu of a formal degree.

Your Impact

We are seeking an experienced Sr Project Controls Professional to support an ongoing site‑based assignment in Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, or Corpus Christi, TX, and future projects also requiring on‑site presence across the U.S. This senior‑level role is ideal for a detail‑oriented and collaborative professional with a strong background in cost control and construction progress tracking.

You will work as part of a dedicated project controls team, collaborating closely with construction teams and vendors to ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.

• Track and report on construction physical progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data into project systems.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on cost management and field operations.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay application processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project controls teams, construction teams, and vendors.
• Willingness and ability to travel for on‑site assignments.

The base salary range for this position is $123,600.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
