DPR Construction is seeking a senior project accounting professional to deliver comprehensive financial oversight for large-scale projects in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of project accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, and strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP.

Delivers comprehensive financial oversight for projects by ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and adherence to organizational standards. Supports project success by analyzing moderately complex financial data, identifying risks based on precedent, and recommending solutions to maintain budgetary alignment. Enhances decision-making by preparing clear, actionable financial reports and analytics. Strengthens organizational performance by driving continuous improvement in project accounting processes and controls. Influences project accounting leading practices by collaborating across teams and providing guidance to peers and less experienced team members.
Manages moderately complex project accounting activities with large-scope, including budget tracking, cost analysis, and revenue recognition, to ensure financial accuracy. Reviews project budget, costs, reports, and forecasts based on independent judgement and comprehensive project accounting experience. Analyzes the financial performance of projects by identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to maintain project profitability. Collaborates with project teams to resolve moderately complex or varied accounting issues and support project delivery. Ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies in all project financial activities. Supports less experienced team members in resolving moderately complex project accounting issues and provides technical expertise on project accounting guidelines and processes. Implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in project accounting operations.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
4 - 6 years of experience in project accounting, financial management, or a related field preferred.
