Job summary

Populus Financial Group in Irving, TX seeks an experienced RPG developer to analyze, design, modify, write and implement software for ACE corporate information systems and provide production support for installed applications.

You will design and write IBM i software, participate in testing, collaborate across multi-platform interfaces, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-paced team environment.

7+ years of IBM i, RPG/CLP/SQL knowledge, SOA familiarity, and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering business systems using RPG techniques.
• Experience with IBM i tools in a three-tier architectural model.
• Must know RPG, CLP, and SQL.
• Understanding of ILE concepts and competent usage.
• Experience with IBM Rational Developer for i is a strong plus.

This position analyzes, designs, modifies, writes and implements software associated with ACE corporate information systems and provides production support for installed applications.

Major Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
