Description
Our north star is zero incidents. We deliver results through our accountability flywheel—working backwards to generate actionable insights, creating and leveraging signals to proactively detect risk, and building high-quality mechanisms to change behavior and drive improvements.
Our organization operates globally across NA, EU, MENA, APAC, and LATAM, partnering with cross-functional teams including Global Fleet & Products, Global Road Safety, regional operations, and legal teams.
We are seeking a high-judgment Sr. Program Manager to lead Fleet Accountability. This role will be instrumental in establishing sustainable mechanisms to ensure DSPs maintain safe, functional vehicles across our complex fleet, directly impacting the safety and experience of thousands of DSP Delivery Associates (DAs) worldwide.
We are seeking a candidate who can dive deep into the details, invent scalable solutions, earn trust with cross-functional partners, insist on the highest standards for safety and compliance, and demonstrate cross-functional ownership by building long-term solutions across teams by working backwards from the customer.
Key job responsibilities
As the Sr. Program Manager for Fleet Accountability, you will partner across teams to own the strategy, execution, and scaling of fleet accountability programs across multiple regions.

  • Diagnose Fleet Defects End-to-End: Work backwards from driver-reported vehicle issues and safety signals to identify root causes—whether they stem from process breakdowns, data pipeline gaps, misaligned incentives, or behavioral dynamics.
  • Build Preventive System Controls: Identify where technology and process redesigns can prevent non-compliance without relying on downstream enforcement. Partner with tech teams to implement proactive mechanisms—such as real-time alerts, automated compliance triggers, or guardrails that drive DSP action before violations occur.
  • Own Fleet Enforcement Mechanisms: Once upstream foundations are validated, support the launch of Monitoring and Enforcement Plans (MEPs) for priority fleet compliance areas. Ensure mechanisms are scalable, data-driven, and integrated into our broader compliance infrastructure.
  • Establish Safety Coverage Standards: Define and enforce vehicle condition standards across vehicle types, regions, and delivery programs. Create mechanisms to track compliance, close coverage gaps, and feed insights back into the accountability flywheel.
  • Create Detection and Remediation Systems: Design signals and tracking mechanisms to proactively identify fleet safety risks—from HVAC failures to device malfunctions. Build remediation frameworks that drive DSP action and measure resolution effectiveness.
  • Drive Leadership Alignment: Manage Director and VP-level reviews, building compelling narratives that frame fleet accountability within our broader compliance strategy. Drive crisp decision-making on prioritization, sequencing, and resource allocation.

A day in the life
You might start your morning reviewing driver-reported vehicle defects to identify emerging patterns, then join a working session with fleet and technology partners to validate whether a data signal is measuring the right thing. After lunch, you could be building a business case for a system control that prevents non-compliance upstream, followed by a leadership review where you present your prioritization roadmap. No two days look the same—you will move fluidly between diagnosing root causes, designing scalable solutions, and driving cross-functional alignment across teams in various stages of maturity.

About The Team
The DSP Compliance & Experience team ensures Amazon's Delivery Service Partners maintain the safety, compliance, and performance standards required across our last-mile network. We build monitoring systems that detect risk, enforcement mechanisms that drive corrective action, and self-service tools that give DSPs visibility into their compliance obligations. Our team manages this full lifecycle end-to-end—from identifying policy gaps, to building the mechanisms that change behavior, to delivering the tools DSPs use daily. You will work alongside program managers who own these workstreams while partnering cross-functionally with fleet, safety, operations, and technology organizations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
