Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to lead the 3-year demand planning capability across Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Technology. You will drive alignment, document decisions, and guide cross-functional teams to improved forecasting and operations.
The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and executive communication. You will own the KPI framework, coordinate onboarding for new forecasting tools, and craft operating model proposals.
Whole Foods Market (WFM) is building a leading-edge, enterprise-wide demand planning capability that connects merchandising, supply chain, and technology to drive smarter, faster decisions at scale. The Demand Planning Capabilities Program is at the forefront of this work — defining the future of how WFM plans, forecasts, and operates across the business.
In the morning, you triage Slack threads from Supply Chain, Tech, and Merchandising partners, then facilitate a cross-functional working group to drive alignment on the forecasting roadmap. Midday, you synthesize program status and surface risks for a leadership review. After lunch, you shift to deep work — writing an operating model proposal or refining the demand planning KPI framework. You close the day coordinating user onboarding for a new forecasting tool and capturing feedback to loop back to the product team.
Whole Foods was founded in 1980 on the belief that where food comes from, and how it's grown, matters. It meant creating quality standards, working with suppliers who achieve them, and sharing that information with our customers. And it radically changed the way people understood and shopped for food. The result has been the highest quality natural and organic products, an unmatched experience in more than 500+ stores, with a passionate team of over 100,000 team members, 5 percent of our total net profits given back to our communities each year, and millions of customers who put their trust in us every day.
