This Senior Program Manager will drive strategic communications and operational excellence across GSS Business Operations, working collaboratively with existing team members to enhance cross-team coordination, high-velocity event support, and senior leadership engagement. This role will be responsible for managing critical business communications, operational reviews, and event readiness across GSS teams. The position will advance a framework that drives high-value, consistent information flow while ensuring operational excellence during major business events like Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days for Amazon Robotics. This role will support the definition and execution of internal communication strategies that enhance cross-functional collaboration, drive accountability for action items, and enable continuous improvement through systematic capture and implementation of lessons learned.


Key job responsibilities
* Support end-to-end program management for High Velocity Events (HVEs) including Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days, ensuring GSS readiness and cross-team alignment
* Assist in orchestrating Network Operational Performance Reviews for senior leadership, including preparation, presentation support, and documentation
* Coordinate systematic follow-up and closure of action items identified during operational reviews, working closely with cross-functional GSS teams
* Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive framework for capturing, analyzing, and implementing lessons learned across GSS operations
* Support strategic communications and information flow between GSS teams to ensure alignment and operational efficiency
* Collaborate on creating and maintaining documentation standards for operational reviews, HVE readiness, and lessons learned processes
* Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather accurate business insights and track progress against key operational metrics
* Support the establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with business leaders across GSS to drive accountability and execution
* Assist in developing and implementing measurable mechanisms to track operational improvements and their impact
* Help create and manage standardized processes for event preparation, execution, and post-event analysis
* Contribute to building and maintaining a repository of best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement across GSS operations
* Execute all facets of this function with a forward-looking approach to identify optimization opportunities and scale successful practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
