RTX, a world leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a CCM Test Engineer in Andover, MA. You will support RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware testing for missile programs and collaborate with Operations, Product Design, Test Development and Manufacturing Engineering.

You will interpret test requirements, develop procedures, document tests, and analyze data to drive root cause while contributing to first-pass yield improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 years of hardware testing experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware test activities for missile programs.

The Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) Test Engineering team provides technical expertise to numerous manufacturing and development programs within Raytheon. Our work involves electronic hardware for radar, missile and combat systems. The Andover, MA location has over 1 million square feet of manufacturing/production space where product is both assembled and tested.

What You Will Do
  • Support test and troubleshooting of RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware for various effectors (missile) programs.
  • Work closely with the Operations team and other engineering disciplines including Product Design, Test Development and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Interpreting test requirements, developing and maintaining test procedures, and documenting test practices·
  • Analyzing data to drive issues to root cause
  • Generating Change Requests (CRs) on technical issues relating to the production test process
  • Developing and executing improvement projects to increase first pass yield
  • Ensuring hardware requirements are met and processes are followed
  • Assisting manufacturing operators in the testing & troubleshooting of production hardware
  • Supporting production test on multiple functional test platforms
  • Travel as required
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • 3 years of hardware testing experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Masters in Electrical Engineer
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, OneNote)
  • RF, analog and digital test / troubleshooting skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset to enhance manufacturing test methods through process modernization
  • Sound understanding of statistical analysis techniques
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Software skills (Labview, MATLAB, C, Linux) a plus
  • Active SECRET Clearance

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
