Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a seasoned Supply Chain Planner to join the Operations team in Seattle. You will forecast part completion dates, prepare work orders, and monitor production flow to ensure on-time delivery of parts for New Shepard vehicles.

Strong data analysis and cross-functional collaboration are essential in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years in planning, with proficiency in Excel and ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years planning & scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, preferably aerospace/high-tech.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forecast part completion dates and align with manufacturing and production control to prioritize work.
• Prepare work orders to produce parts based on MRP, master production schedule, shop load, and inventory needs.
• Monitor flow of jobs through production; coordinate with Manufacturing/Operations to meet schedules.
• Query and analyze system data to support business goals and decision making.
• Develop processes to understand shortages and critical paths; support metric development.
