Job summary

Parker Hannifin Erie Plant is seeking a Sr Production Coordinator to release work orders, coordinate material flow, and ensure on-time delivery across the Silicone value stream. This role partners with operations to plan raw materials, schedule production, and monitor WIP.

Requires strong SAP/ERP experience and advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a continuous improvement mindset. Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

  • Relevant 4-year degree OR 1 year related experience with Associate's degree OR 3 years of related work experience
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP mentioned)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office product skills; CSCP certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Release work orders and schedule materials to ensure on-time customer delivery
  • Significant interaction with MRP system (SAP), MS Office and other software
  • Coordinate customer shipments through data collection and status reporting
  • Monitor status of open orders and review with operations daily
  • Ensure SAP dates are accurate for reporting order status to customers
  • Support continuous improvement through Parker Lean System (PLS)
  • Communicate across teams to promote teamwork and manage multiple priorities
  • Work independently while contributing as part of a team
  • Demonstrate ongoing self-improvement by gaining new knowledge and skills

Education

Relevant 4-year degree OR
Associate's degree in a related discipline and 1 year of related work experience OR
3 years of relevant work experience

Job description

Position Summary

The Parker Lord Sr Production Coordinator is responsible for releasing work orders for the Erie facility, primarily in the Silicone value stream while working directly with the operations team for multi-functional production support. Responsible for ensuring on time customer delivery through the scheduling of raw materials, operations, and flow of work in process throughout the Silicone value stream.

Responsibilities
  • Support production in the Silicone value stream and other areas as needed within the Parker Lord Erie facility while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and quality

  • Requires significant interaction with MRP system (SAP), Microsoft office, and other software systems

  • Support coordination of customer shipments through data collection and status reporting

  • Closely monitors the status of all open orders and reviews with operations team daily

  • Support Master Scheduler in ensuring work order dates in MRP system (SAP) are accurate for reporting order status to customers

  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement through involvement with Parker Lean System (PLS)

  • Requires well-honed organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and management within and across departmental boundaries to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork

  • Ability to manage multiple, fluid priorities and proactively address demands in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independent of direct supervision while functioning as part of a team

  • Demonstrated effort toward self-improvement by gaining new knowledge/skills and accepting new assignments
