The Product Marketing Manager for Amazon Ads plays a dual-focused role in driving both product strategy and go-to-market execution. This position serves as the crucial bridge between product development and market success, combining deep customer insights with strategic marketing expertise to ensure Amazon Ads builds and markets products that meet customer needs and achieve strong market adoption.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager position will cover the advanced data and analytic solutions at Amazon Ads, such as Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Ads Data Manager (ADM), AMC on AWS Clean Rooms, and integrated industry ad tech solutions on advertiser first-party data, measurement, identity, and privacy. These products and integrations empower advertisers to leverage cross-source signals and interoperable systems to measure performance, build audiences, generate insights, optimize campaigns, and orchestrate advertising activities on Amazon and beyond.

Key job responsibilities

Product Strategy & Customer Intelligence

  • Conduct comprehensive market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and inform product direction
  • Partner with Product Managers to align customer research priorities with product roadmap development
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging customer needs
  • Drive evidence-based decision making through customer insights and market intelligence

Go-to-Market & Marketing Execution

  • Develop and execute year-long marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption across the product portfolio
  • Create compelling marketing collateral, including sales materials, case studies, blog posts, product videos, and web content
  • Lead the development of product positioning, messaging, and strategic narrative
  • Establish and maintain single-source-of-truth documentation for product positioning, messaging, availability, best practices, and FAQs

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Brand/Events, Regional Marketing, PR, Research, and Training teams
  • Drive stakeholder alignment through regular engagement and clear communication of product vision
  • Support effective Alpha/Beta testing programs and gather post-launch customer feedback
  • Guide the prioritization and development of case studies and research initiatives

About The Team

The Measurement Product Marketing team is focused on improving product-market fit and developing structured go-to-market (GTM) strategies to drive interest, enhance understanding, and accelerate adoption for Amazon Ads’ measurement, planning, clean rooms, and developer-facing ad tech, including key APIs. Our mission is to increase advertiser investment in Amazon Ads by empowering product teams with customer insights to build impactful solutions and making it easier for customers to adopt our measurement products and APIs through self-service. This directly supports our broader vision of positioning Amazon Ads as the preferred full-funnel advertising partner, delivering comprehensive, data-driven solutions and innovative AdTech that drive measurable outcomes for our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
