The AWS Solutions organization includes services such as Customer Engagement (Amazon Connect, Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon SES), End User Computing (including Amazon Workspaces, AppStream, etc.), and Autonomous Checkout and Biometric Identity Services (Just Walk Out, Amazon One) for retail, sports, travel, and other verticals.

To be successful in this mission we are looking for a passionate and experienced Sr. Technical Product Manager to define and help accelerate the product development and business growth of Amazon AppStream 2.0. AppStream is a fully managed application streaming service that provides users with instant access to their desktop applications from anywhere. You will own the product strategy, roadmap, business, and execution. You will listen to and represent customers – from the world’s largest enterprises to high-growth startups - in order to deliver best-in-class global services and capabilities. You will be hands-on with your engineering teams and work closely with senior leadership as well as both internal and external partners. You are an owner, builder, and enabler, working with leaders across UX, Engineering, Business Development, Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Finance. You will develop and drive a product roadmap, deliver value to customers, and work with senior AWS leadership on strategy and investment decisions. To be successful in this role you will need an established background in building and leading web-scale software services, a proven understanding of SaaS applications, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners to deliver mutual benefits. Strong team building and mentorship skills are essential. You have to want to work hard, have fun, and make history.

Key job responsibilities

You will be part of an international team building technologies and products such as Amazon AppStream. (https://aws.amazon.com/appstream2/).

As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical/External Service, you will own portfolio strategy, product definition, feature prioritization, messaging, pricing, adoption, customer interaction, sales enablement, and team development. You will work with stakeholders across AWS as well as outside of Amazon, including lighthouse Fortune 100 and 500 companies using our products.

Every day you will have to balance your efforts among working closely with engineers to find innovative solutions for satisfying interesting customer needs, defining new product features, collaborating with our go-to-market teams to drive adoption, interacting with customers and partners, and representing our products and the team in front of all levels of AWS leadership. Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
  • Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar, or comparable years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
  • Experience with End User Computing products and services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
