We’re evolving streaming beyond the Apache Kafka protocol into a unified “engine of record” that delivers a categorical reduction in complexity, wicked-fast performance, onboard Wasm transforms, and transparent tiered storage that gives consumers access to both real-time and historical data from a single API.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for Redpanda Connect, our high performance data integration platform. Redpanda Connect’s open source roots created a rich ecosystem of hundreds of connectors and its efficient architecture and low-code DevEx makes it easy for developers to build and deploy real-time and agentic AI pipelines at scale. You will guide the evolution of Redpanda Connect—including shaping new connectors and data transformation features, designing how developers deploy and manage data pipelines, and defining data integration and orchestration features for Agentic AI workflows. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will work with customers, study the market to gather data, and drive the strategic roadmap for Redpanda Connect that makes working with streaming data approachable and powerful.

This is an opportunity to work closely with product and engineering leadership and teams at a fast-growing, well-funded startup. This role requires experience with enterprise infrastructure technology, working closely with customers, and collaborating cross-functionally across technical and non-technical teams.

You Will

• Meet with customers, analyze the competitive landscape, and identify market opportunities to shape our company's product strategy
• Define requirements for new Redpanda Connect features such as new connectors, transformations, Agentic AI use cases, UI/UX workflows, observability, and integration points with Redpanda’s streaming platform
• Communicate new features internally and externally and help define value propositions, messaging, and pricing
• Analyze the data integration landscape and translate insights into a differentiated product strategy
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams (including Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing ) to ensure we ship the right features at the right time, with the right scope and user experience context
• Own delivery of features end-to-end, picking up tasks wherever needed, reviewing documentation, and defining analytics required to measure success after rollout

You Have

• 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise software platforms, ideally in data infrastructure, with data storage and/or real-time streaming experience a plus
• 7+ years total experience in enterprise software companies
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure products, e.g. for IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with event streaming, data integration tools (like Kafka Connect, Debezium), real-time pipeline platforms (FiveTran, Airbyte, Streamsets) and/or CDC-based applications
• Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to to concisely explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences (and vice-versa)
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to guide and lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working with a 100% distributed / remote team, collaborating in GitHub/JIRA, Slack, Google docs and other modern productivity tools independently, in the open
• Comfortable switching context frequently to address customer, engineering, and go-to-market issues and requests
• Experience working closely with highly technical products and customers

Nice to Have

• Shipped enterprise-grade feature sets for data infrastructure products and services (especially distributed systems)
• Worked with public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native infrastructure, including any of the following:
• Deep knowledge of cloud provider infrastructure, architectures and deployment models
• Building features that integrate or leverage cloud ecosystem integrations (e.g. monitoring, logging, telemetry, metering, billing, etc.)

U.S. base salary range for this role is $188,000 - $235,000 (CA, NY, WA) and $180,000 - $220,000 (other US locations). Redpanda is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
