Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years in Product Ownership or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting retail merchandising, planning, allocation, or analytics platforms.
  • Strong enterprise SaaS product management and roadmap leadership.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex environments.
  • Translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with o9 Solutions or Blue Yonder preferred.
  • Exposure to analytics or AI-enabled technologies.

Job Summary

J.Crew is seeking a Senior Product Owner – MP&A, Merchandising Analytics & AI Platforms to lead the evolution of the systems supporting Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Store Planning, Allocation, and Merchandising Analytics capabilities. This role serves as the product and subject matter authority for enterprise planning, allocation, merchandising analytics, and emerging AI-enabled platforms. The Senior Product Owner will drive product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, and continuous improvement initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Working closely with business leaders, engineering teams, vendors, and analytics partners, this role will guide cross‑functional discussions, prioritize enhancements based on business value, and help shape the future of merchandising and planning technology at J.Crew. The ideal candidate combines strong product leadership, retail domain expertise, technical fluency, and a hands‑on approach to solving complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the product roadmap for merchandising, planning, allocation, and analytics platforms.

  • Familiarity with planning platforms such as o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, or similar technologies preferred.
  • Exposure to analytics, AI-enabled technologies, or data‑driven product environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in agile or product‑led development environments preferred.

Salary Range: $136,000.00 - $175,500.00 At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks.
