Job description

The Senior Product Manager 2 role requires the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, GTM partners, UX, and the engineering team. Whether working on cross-team initiatives or tracking data sources for new features, the SPM2 will engage with many members of the larger Anywhere RE organization.

This role involves prioritizing the engineering backlog and managing time effectively to focus on high-impact deliverables. The ideal candidate can develop multiple initiatives simultaneously with a constant push towards delivery.

The Day to Day

1. Produce Jira Initiatives and Epics, and communicate them clearly to Engineering, UX, and QA teams.
2. Meet with partners to gather requirements.
3. Coordinate with other Product team members for production support, process analytics, and feature development.
4. Own relationships with business partners and perform continuous discovery with business and users.
5. Coordinate upcoming epics for sprint planning, ensuring 2 sprints of backlog are groomed and ready.
6. Meet regularly with Tech, UX, and Product teams to maintain focus and ensure progress.
7. The role is high output and high expectation; self-directed and mission-focused.

The Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a professional product development environment, with at least 5 years in Product Management/Ownership.
• 5+ years experience in Agile development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
• Excellent technical literacy.
• Full product lifecycle experience.
• Experience building marketing products.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Decisive decision-making ability.
