GE Vernova's Onshore Wind business seeks a Senior Product Manager responsible for Control Platform Upgrades, owning multi-generational strategy for turbine controls hardware and firmware across development and installed fleets.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Services and Commercial teams to drive market differentiation, VOC, and program oversight for NPIs, while guiding commercial arrangements and budgets with strong leadership.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 12 years of experience in Product Management, Renewables and/or Industrial Control Systems.
• 8 years of experience in Product Management, Renewables and/or Industrial Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Own value proposition, commercialization and revenue/margin growth of Control Platform Features, Configuration, Licensing and Upgrades.
• Partner with Engineering, Services, and Commercial to synthesize customer needs and market trends into strategy.
• Drive VOC, business case development, funding justification, and program oversight for Control Platform NPIs.
• Serve as customer-facing SME supporting contract negotiations, technical reviews, and ITO activities.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments relevant to turbine controls and embedded systems.

Job Description Summary

Senior Product Manager – Control Platform Upgrades is a key member of the Digital Platform product line team within GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind business. This role owns multi-generational strategy and product management for turbine controls hardware and firmware, spanning both the new product development roadmap and supporting the existing installed fleet. The ideal candidate bridges deep technical understanding with strong commercial acumen to drive competitive, reliable, and innovative embedded controls solutions.

Responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives. Owns/influences commercial business operating guidelines and has ownership/influence over budgets. Guided by functional policy. There is autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Essential Responsibilities

• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments relevant to turbine controls and embedded systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 12 years of experience in Product Management, Renewables and/or Industrial Control Systems.
• 8 years of experience in Product Management, Renewables and/or Industrial Control Systems.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $134,000.00 and $223,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
