Job description

Overview

Docusign is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Docusign Platforms. You will be the single owner responsible for defining the system strategy that supports Docusign's largest enterprise customers. Your success will be measured by translating deeply technical, multi-system impact into tangible business outcomes and ensuring initiatives launch efficiently. This role sits at the center of Docusign's platform strategy, coordinating with multiple senior stakeholders and documenting decisions for executives and partner teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for delivering Docusign Usage, Provisioning and Licensing initiatives, serving as the connective tissue between platform strategy and customer experience
  • Profile high-value, innovative business use cases and navigate the complexity of highly technical, distributed systems (e.g., microservices architecture)
  • Drive the vision and requirements for complex, multi-system platform changes, translating these into clear, developer-ready functional specifications and a delightful customer experience
  • Champion launch efficiency for new features and pricing packages, proactively identifying and clearing technical debt and communication blockers
  • Define and operationalize the success metrics (KPIs) for platform performance and customer-facing usage features, collaborating with Data Science and using telemetry to guide testing and experimentation
  • Develop an understanding of key customer personas, struggles, and Jobs to be Done through primary and secondary research across the lifecycle
  • Facilitate requirements definition across teams to create detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria while identifying dependencies and priorities
  • Ensure collaboration with Program Management, Design, and Engineering to ship products on time and to quality standards
  • Drive go-to-market and adoption by collaborating with Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Support, Legal, Security, and other partners
Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Frequency: minimum 2 days per week; weekly in-office expectation. Docusign reserves the right to change a designation based on business needs and local law.

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in a technology-related field (e.g., CS, EE, IT, Systems, MIS)
  • 8+ years of directly relevant experience in product management for SaaS products and services with a Bachelor\'s degree, or 6+ years with a Master\'s degree
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture at enterprise scale
  • Experience building and gaining consensus on comprehensive business cases for new product capabilities
  • Experience delivering products using iterative or Agile methodologies

Preferred

  • Master\'s degree in Computer Science or related field or MBA
  • Passion for continuous learning and ability to operate in a dynamic environment
  • Self-directed with ability to manage complex workload and drive launch, adoption, and ongoing health
  • Executive presence and strong verbal and written communication, with ability to switch between strategic and technical discussions
  • Ability to anticipate downstream impact and prioritize investments for total system benefit
  • Experience building cross-functional partnerships with internal and external groups
Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on geographic location and may vary by knowledge, skills, and experience. For Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $140,100.00 - $206,775.00 base salary

  • Bonus: Sales roles may be eligible for variable incentive pay; non-Sales roles may be eligible for a company bonus plan
