Job Overview

Senior Product Manager – Enterprise Inventory Services Group, Cox Automotive, USA. Owns the full lifecycle of inventory data capabilities from concept through launch and adoption, ensuring accurate and efficient vehicle information flows across retail channels for a seamless omnichannel car‑buying experience. Works collaboratively with Product, UX, Engineering, Architecture, and Solution Delivery teams, driving alignment across stakeholders and influencing decisions at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Lead product discovery to understand inventory data problems across the enterprise, including dealer segments and personas.
  • Align product strategy with business objectives in partnership with business partners, engineering, architecture, and clients.
  • Translate strategic roadmap priorities into executable work using agile planning tools, balancing new feature development with technical debt reduction.
  • Build relationships across product, UX, engineering, architecture, and solution delivery teams, ensuring a healthy pipeline of meaningful work that delivers incremental value.
  • Plan and execute adoption strategies, collaborating with product readiness, engineering, business stakeholders, implementation partners, and customer support to build go‑to‑market and migration plans.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators such as data accuracy rates, sync latency, inventory discrepancy resolution time, and adoption completion, using insights to inform roadmap priorities.
  • Navigate conflicting priorities across business units, build consensus, and manage stakeholder relationships in a matrix organization.
  • Engage internal and external clients during discovery to gather feedback on product ideas and understand dealer operations, wholesale vs retail inventory differences, and OEM requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience in a related field (alternative combinations of degree level and experience are acceptable).
  • 4+ years of experience in software product management or product marketing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and system architecture diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills to solve complex enterprise product challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate customer problems, solution value, and influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on optimizing product launches and portfolio delivery.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and experience driving complex initiatives in a multi‑team environment.
  • Purpose‑driven, motivated to inspire others and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with team members and customers.
Compensation

Base salary range: $111,600 – $186,000 (may vary based on location and qualifications). Additional compensation may include incentive programs.

Benefits

Flexible paid vacation, seven paid holidays per year, and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annual.
