Job summary

Late Checkout, LLC is seeking a Sr. Product Designer to craft beautiful, functional concepts for leading brands, working remotely on a freelance/part-time basis and shaping experiences across industries with AI-enabled features.

You will lead design on major client projects, run user research, create wireframes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile, collaborate with PMs and engineers, and help elevate the design team's skills while balancing priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience.
• Experience with AI technologies (agents, LLMs) is a plus.
• Strong strategic and detail-oriented capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

Sr. Product Designer (Freelance/Part-time)

Remote Contract Global

As a Sr. Product Designer you will craft and design beautiful, functional, and inspirational concepts and products for some of the world's leading brands. You'll be defining and refining experiences across many different industries, tailored to different communities, and on the bleeding edge of where design is headed.

What You'll Do

Leading design on major client projects

Design intuitive, agentic user experiences that leverage the power of AI.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and client needs, based on the communities they serve.

Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.

Present and communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members. Bring high degrees of thoughtfulness - we love that.

Balance time and prioritization to generate the highest quality output.

Work closely with developers to ensure the designs are implemented accurately and to a high standard.

Level up our design team's skills and culture

Work strategically with the team on AI-driven initiatives and special projects.

Who we're looking for

5+ years of product design expertise

Can be global, but preferred locations are the Americas, Europe, and Africa

Experience designing with or around emerging AI technologies (agents, LLMs, AI-enhanced workflows) is a big plus

Tapped into the world of product and technology, you have a pulse on the fast-moving landscape and are quick to form a POV.

Able to operate at a high strategic level or a detailed ground level, depending on the task at hand

Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design and prototyping tools is a bonus.

Curious, humble, and ambitious. You learn from both your successes and failures

Wired to give and receive constructive feedback

Excellent product intuition and vision
