Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Senior Product Designer for its Assisted Tax Local Digital Optimization in San Diego, CA. You will translate local and appointment strategy into compelling landing pages and workflows, leading with user research and rapid prototyping to deliver delightful customer experiences.

Collaborate across design, product, development, and marketing teams, facilitating workshops and shaping a strong design POV grounded in data and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Degree in Design, Arts, HCI, Human factors or similar disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience in product/interaction design.
• Experience designing products with high degrees of complexity and cross-product interdependencies.
• Portfolio that demonstrates great visual design.
• Strong understanding of UX and information architecture.
• Experience facilitating workshops with other disciplines.
• Experience with user research and rapid experiments.
• Has worked on top of funnel landing pages from concept to code (end-to-end).
• Customer-centric design mindset.
• Passion for creating products that resonate emotionally and drive business results.
• Strong visual chops for responsive assets and design systems.

A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Product Designer - Assisted Tax Local Digital Optimization to join their team in San Diego, CA. Summary: In this role, this person will design champion of our Assisted top of funnel experiences that spearheads our next evolution through innovation and design craft. You will be responsible for translating our local and appointment strategy into beautiful, eye-catching landing pages and appointment workflows.

How you will lead:

• Articulate complex visions through simple and novel designs
• Engage with customers and learn quickly through iterative prototyping
• Collaborate effectively with other designers, product managers, developers and marketers
• Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
• Advance a strong point of view, backed up by customer data, design rationale,personal expertise, and industry trends
• Participate in customer research and apply insights to generate designs that deliver customer delight
• Self-organize and manage multiple projects efficiently

Requirements

• Degree in Design, Arts, HCI, Human factors or similar disciplines
• 3+ years of experience in product/interaction design
• Experience designing products with high degrees of complexity and cross-product interdependencies
• Portfolio that demonstrates great visual design
• A strong understanding of UX first principles and information architecture
• Experience facilitating workshops to ideate and conceptualize with disciplines outside design
• Experience working with user research and in an environment of lightweight and rapid experiments and iterations
• Has worked on top of funnel landing pages from concept to code (end-to-end)
• Customer-centric design mindset
• Passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level and drive business results
• Strong visual chops with the ability to create an array of responsive visual assets from style guides
• Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries
• Strong online portfolio showing examples of real published work

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing for tax, fintech, or other compliance-heavy industries
• Experience building or maintaining pattern libraries, or systems for landing pages
• Experience mentoring or upleveling product designers on design craft
• Experience designing with agentic systems like Claude

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
