What you will work on?

TekML is seeking digital product designers with expertise in visual design, experience design, interface construction, branding, and storytelling through business acumen and presenting visual concepts to various stakeholders. The ideal designer will have a passion for taking on complex problems and designing elegant, simple solutions that surprise and delight users. This role will work closely with a stunning team of designers, product managers, engineers, and external partners to decide what we build. Finally, we put customer at the forefront of everything we do, you’ll create products that are not only amazing to look at, but also intuitive and useful to billions of people worldwide.

Job requirements

Responsibilities

• Design and execute user interface features from concept to asset delivery.
• Create wireframes, storyboards and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and interfaces in motion.
• Collaborate with Design and Product leadership to establish your features and contribute to the direction of your product area.
• Creates a variety of visual design documents including mood boards, storyboards, creative briefs, 3D models, product visualizations, color and materials design.
• Creating process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and interaction models, resulting in low to high fidelity prototypes.
• Contributes to the use and adoption of the latest design system (e.g., content templates, icons, form design, UI controls, navigation models, design trends).
• Manage end-to-end feature design with an ability to translate abstract ideas into viable product features.
• Ensures products are aligned with company-wide systems.
• Interacts with Engineering for successful design implementation and performs QAs to guarantee a high-quality implementation and user experience.
• Communicates with cross-disciplinary teams through all stages of design and development.
• Works with creative team members, program managers, and developers to define and iterate new and existing product features.
• Develop product metrics to foster a culture of data-driven decision making.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Product design, Computer Science or related field or 5+ years experience working in product design.
• 5+ years of design experience focused on unifying UI and UX design across multiple teams with differing goals and priorities.
• Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users.
• Experience working in continuous delivery environments where the pace is fast and a focus on execution is critical.
• Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing.
• Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts.
• Defining product specifications and user experiences.
• Highly proficient with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Proficiency with interactive prototyping tools strongly preferred (Framer, Principle, Invision Studio, etc.).
• Conducting end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Experience working with senior leaders across organizations to drive business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders such as User Research, Engineering, and Product Management.
• Experience with SaaS, or complex enterprise applications.
• A former programmer or developer or software engineer.
