This is a 100% remote role and will be a 3-month contract to start with potential to extend or convert to full time.

Description

Our client is looking for a Sr. Product Designer to support their loyalty program. This individual contributor role will partner with a cross-functional team across user experience, product management, engineering, and business operations to develop health and wellness experiences from discovery through delivery, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and quality.

The role combines facilitation, visual, and user experience design skills with user-centered methodologies to understand customer and business problems, design solutions, and deliver high-quality products that enable customers to make quick, accurate health and wellness decisions.

Reporting to the Product Design Manager, the Senior Product Designer will lead the design of complex features, collaborating closely with business, product, and engineering teams to enhance customer experience and elevate design quality using frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

1. Own the creation of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, interactions, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes for medium to large features.
2. Collaborate with designated partners to maintain design and UX quality, consistency, and alignment, translating research insights into customer-driven experiences.
3. Utilize and contribute to the design system, identifying opportunities for evolution and new UI patterns.
4. Communicate and advocate for design ideas, negotiate with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
5. Ensure designs are informed by customer feedback, research, technical constraints, and business needs.
6. Manage multiple design deliverables, communicate progress, dependencies, and challenges effectively.
7. Participate in user research to inform design improvements.
8. Identify and resolve high-level issues to ensure quality of shipped experiences.
9. Promote design thinking practices within the team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design systems across platforms.
• Understanding of product development processes and solving cross-platform challenges.
• Use of data analytics to inform design decisions.
• Deep knowledge of usability and user-centered design.
• Experience iterating on features based on data and research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in related fields with at least 3 years of experience designing for large-scale digital experiences.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and process.
• Proficiency in prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe CC).
• Experience with WCAG standards and working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and designing for web and mobile.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $60-$75/hr, with eligibility for benefits including health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, and PTO. Benefits depend on employment specifics.
