About the Role

As a Senior Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the product design, development, and technical management of roof systems.

Responsibilities

Design and assess product mechanisms and structures based on customer requirements.

Create detailed mechanical design drawings.

Conduct material testing and selection for mechanisms.

Oversee mold design, mold opening, trial molds, and review and modification of molds.

Produce mechanism prototypes, conduct testing and analysis, and implement improvements.

Plan and schedule production processes.

Review trial production and make design modifications as necessary.

Assist in resolving mechanical-related issues during mass production.

Prepare engineering technical documents for product development.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.

Strong English and Mandarin communication skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Strong skills in product mechanism design, new product development and testing, mechanical product design, and 2D/3D mold design drawing creation.

Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, excellent teamwork, and independent analytical skills.

Experience in 2D/3D model creation and modification, proficiency in CATIA software is a plus.

Prior experience in automotive component product development is highly desirable.

Initial 6-12 months on-site training and work at headquarters in Taiwan.
