Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Manufacturing Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or 9 years in related engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Management processes and principles.
• Proficient in design development, manufacturing and assembly operations, and engineering procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering change management, requests, and cross-functional collaboration for product changes.
• Create and maintain product BOMs and part numbers in ERP systems.
• Support new product design and development, providing input and troubleshooting for BOM concerns.
• Resolve project issues, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement to product design processes and documentation.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate engineering change management, requests, and cross-functional collaboration for new and existing product changes.
• Create and maintain product BOMs and part numbers in ERP systems, ensuring complete and accurate structures.
• Support new product design and development, providing input and troubleshooting for Bills of Material concerns.
• Resolve project issues, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to product design processes and documentation.

Basic Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering and 5 years of experience, or 9 years of application, service, sales, or manufacturing engineering experience in large equipment industry.
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Management processes and principles.
• Proficient knowledge of design development, manufacturing and assembly operations, engineering processes and procedures.
• Proficient with SAP, PTC Windchill, Windows for PC, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with data mining and data cleansing using SAP, Excel, and other company software.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., lean, six sigma).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Management experience or exposure to diverse challenges and cultures.
