Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead product backlog and drive data transformation within the Trading organization. You will translate strategy into requirements, break work into user stories, and ensure alignment with roadmaps while collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology teams.

You will serve as the primary liaison with Scrum Teams, guide acceptance criteria, and participate in agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product management within financial services, fintech, or related industry.
  • 2+ years in Capital Markets or Trading domains.
  • 3+ years as Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs and translating business requirements into user stories.
  • Experience collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to translate product strategy into actionable requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define features aligned to goals and roadmap priorities.
  • Break features into user stories and prioritize the backlog to maximize value.
  • Serve as liaison between Scrum Teams and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration across business and technology teams throughout the lifecycle.
  • Provide acceptance criteria and participate in Definition of Ready/Done standards.
  • Lead product demonstrations and reviews to gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Support Data Transformation and technology modernization initiatives within Trading.
  • Contribute to governance and dashboards for executive reporting.
  • Coordinate and monitor interconnected products and dependencies.
