Responsibilities
  • Manage daily procurement needs, including purchasing, developing, and administering agreements and contracts
  • Advise managers and staff on contract development procedures and specifications
  • Negotiate contract terms to minimize performance risk and manage renewals and amendments
  • Prepare and deliver training on procurement processes to agency staff
  • Act as liaison between contractors and agency staff, ensuring proper contract administration
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of public contracts management and the State procurement code
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or contract management
  • Strong skills in project management, negotiation, and communication
  • Ability to analyze and establish priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in computers and software, including G Suite and spreadsheet applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with e-procurement systems and federal antitrust laws
  • Familiarity with business law related to contract formation and administration
