Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Procurement Analyst – Data Analytics to analyze procurement data, develop dashboards, and monitor supplier performance. The role emphasizes data-driven insights across procurement, supply chain, and finance to optimize spend and contracts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in procurement or sourcing, strong analytics, and experience with Power BI/Tableau and SAP/Oracle/Ariba systems. Remote work with competitive benefits and incentive eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Purchasing.
• Strong Data Analytics experience.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Power BI/Tableau dashboard development.
• Experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business stakeholders.
• Validate and maintain procurement master data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Generate forecasts and trend analysis for purchasing activities.

Procurement Analyst – Data Analytics

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with data cleansing and master data management.
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven procurement analytics solutions.
• Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or SAP Procurement.

The annual salary for this position is between $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
