We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote.
Contribute process engineering expertise to cross functional teams to inform successful design, scale up, and qualification of new products and processes.
Lead technical assessment, validation, and commissioning of processes at OS and partner manufacturing facilities, collaborating with RDS functional peers to meet business objectives.
Identify, validate and implement modifications to processes to improve production yields, throughput of batching and thermal processing, utility savings, process control, and other relevant operational targets.
Apply standard engineering techniques in the analysis of existing operational areas from raw materials to finished packages to troubleshoot process related production challenges and recommend corrective actions.
Lead design, development, and execution of experiments in the pilot-plant and with strategic vendor partners to inform process scale up, troubleshooting, research, and new technology exploration.
Develop and implement process specifications, standards and best practices in collaboration with operations and cross functional subject matter experts.
Maintain an up-to-date awareness of Federal, State, and Local engineering codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Required Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent 5+ years of relevant experience in process engineering or R&D, preferably in food/beverage.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Creative thinker with a passion for Innovation, problem solving, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
Highly organized, adaptable, self-starter able to effectively manage multiple projects.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead cross functional project teams.
Preferred Experience with data analysis and visualization in Python or similar tools.

Annual Salary: $96,200 - $120,200
