Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) in the United States seeks a Senior Process Engineer to optimize operations, enhance customer outcomes, and drive continuous improvement. You will design, implement, and lead process enhancements aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

You will guide cross-functional teams, lead the Process Engineering Framework, and collaborate with operations, IT, compliance, and risk management to deliver measurable improvements and sustained value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in business, finance, operations, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in process management, operations, finance, or regulatory functions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Proven ability to improve processes while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives using Kaizen, Design Thinking, Lean, and Six Sigma.
  • Define issues with senior leaders and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Manage complex programs with timelines, budgets and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain the Process Engineering Framework roadmaps and standards.
  • Implement enterprise process management systems and drive adoption across the organization.
  • Collaborate with operations, compliance, IT, and customer service to solve challenges.
  • Train teams and drive organizational change for new processes.

Position Summary

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement at Stellantis Financial Services. You will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing process enhancements that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement projects using Kaizen, Design Thinking, Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Consult with business leaders and define issues with recommendations to improve current state.
  • Manage complex initiatives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Lead the Process Engineering Framework roadmap, including routines, standards and enterprise process management system.
  • Lead the enterprise process management system implementation including but not limited to, enterprise process taxonomy, process migration and training.
  • Partner with various departments, including operations, compliance, IT, and customer service, to understand challenges and develop solutions.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure processes comply with financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to identify controls and mitigate potential risks.
  • Drive organizational change by identifying root causes, implementing improvements and communicating benefits effectively.
  • Provide training and support to teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to automate and enhance processes.
  • Work closely with IT to integrate technology into process improvement initiatives.
  • All other duties assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies Required

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the following related functions: Process management experience in Operations, Finance or Regulatory.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.

Skills Required

  • Expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt certification preferred), and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and performance measurement.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools and technology platforms (e.g., BPM, RPA).
  • Travel 0-10% as required on an as needed basis.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities:
    • Atlanta, GA
    • Dallas, TX
    • Detroit, MI
    • Houston, TX
    • Phoenix, AZ

Qualifications Preferred

  • Process Management certification preferred; Lean Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), and Design Thinking certifications strongly desired.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Proven experience facilitating process improvement events, workshops, and cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence.
  • Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity, assess complex situations, and make sound business decisions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated focus on achieving measurable outcomes and sustainable improvements.
  • Adaptable and effective in fast-paced, highly regulated environments, with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Work Schedule

This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed.
