Santa Monica Studio - the team behind the legendary "God of War" franchise - is looking for a senior technical artist to join our Procedural Technical Art team. This is a great chance to get on board with a storied studio and an amazing team.

We build pipelines to automate drudgework and low-value tasks, helping our artists focus on art. We also make sure that optimizing our games for runtime efficiency doesn't get in the way of creativity and inspiration.

We're looking for an experienced procedural artist who is as interested in people as they are in node networks -- somebody who can work closely with traditional 3d artists to understand their needs and to provide tools which empower them.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with artists to understand their goals and workflows
  • Design and deliver procedural tools which empower artists to build great content
  • Participate in art asset reviews to help identify technical concerns or risks
