About Us

We're the Technical Architecture group, defining Oracle's next-generation application architecture. We create shared services for data access, messaging, security, and more, built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Our services enable Oracle Fusion Applications to move into a cloud-native future. We’re seeking an outstanding platform product manager to lead our Data Access Service.

About This Role

As a technical product manager for the Data Extraction Service, you will work with a distributed team to design, test, deliver, and operate data extraction components. The service allows Oracle Fusion applications to define extensible queries, run ad hoc and scheduled extraction jobs, and execute complex hierarchical queries with enterprise-grade performance, reliability, and security. This service will be adopted across all Oracle Fusion applications.

You will define the strategy and roadmap for the data extraction service, engaging with internal Oracle teams modernizing existing architectures and building new products. You will oversee the development and operation of this service globally, providing critical application capabilities worldwide.

What We’re Looking For

This is a deeply technical role requiring:

  • Strong understanding of object relational mapping, databases, queries, and data extraction patterns.
  • Knowledge of OLAP, data warehousing, and business intelligence is a plus.
  • Experience as a platform product manager with a passion for solving complex problems.
  • Ability to understand developer needs and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience designing, delivering, and operating cloud-native software and APIs throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities

You will:

  • Shape the vision for the Data Extraction Service in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements from Oracle application teams and develop a product roadmap and backlog.
  • Create detailed functional, performance, operational, and quality requirements.
  • Work with the development team to deliver, monitor, and improve the service.
  • Collaborate across teams to develop effective solutions and promote best practices.
  • Document patterns and explain recommendations to internal teams.
  • Present plans and results to senior management and other groups.
Benefits and Additional Information

US Hiring Range: $115,400 to $251,600 annually, with potential bonuses and equity. Oracle offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. The role is open for applications for at least three days from the posting date.
