It is both analytical and highly collaborative, requiring strong judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.**Responsibilities**- Source and evaluate venture investments across Seed, Series A, and Series B, owning deal flow through diligence and execution- Drive alignment and execution of AI/ML initiatives across the company, including Generative AI and physical AI- Maintain relationships with portfolio companies and ensure alignment with Micron's investment strategy- Develop executive-level briefings and recommendations for leadership, the Board, and the Investment Committee- Mentor team members and partner cross-functionally with business and technology stakeholders**Minimum Qualifications**- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related field, and MBA from a Tier 1 university- Experience in venture capital, startups, or senior operating roles, including deal sourcing and investment processes- Strong financial acumen with technical depth in at least one relevant AI or semiconductor-related domain- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and delivering clear, data-backed recommendations- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with competing priorities**Preferred Qualifications**- Experience in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley venture ecosystem- Background in data center hardware systems and/or data center software- Experience at a Tier 1 consulting firm- Domain expertise in areas such as physical AI, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, or data center systems/software**Compensation:** The US base salary range for this full-time position is $196,000 - $344,000 a year.
