Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to lead system integration and apply advanced systems engineering to electrophysiology cath lab environments. You will work across cross-functional teams, define architectures, and drive testing and validation throughout the product lifecycle.

Based in the US, this onsite role supports sites in Minnesota or Massachusetts with a four-day-office expectation. A strong background in medical devices and Design Controls is required, with travel <20%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10+ years of experience or Master’s with 8+ years or PhD with 6+ years of experience.
  • Advanced systems engineering experience defining systems architecture.
  • Experience in medical devices and electrophysiology environments preferred.

Responsibilities

This team partners across systems engineering, product development, field engineering, technical services, marketing, and clinical stakeholders to ensure successful integration of electrophysiology systems within hospital environments and to support product performance throughout the product lifecycle. This position may be based in Mounds View, Minnesota or Newton, Massachusetts and follows an onsite work model with a minimum of four days per week in the office.
