We are looking for you to join our team as a Sr Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist on the Subcontract Services (“SCS”) team in a hybrid role out of Linthicum, Maryland; Rolling Meadows, Illinois; Melbourne, Florida; or San Diego, California. The role will be staffed as a hybrid role near one of the listed sites.
This is a posting for a Sr Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist.
The Mission Systems Subcontract Services Team (“SCS”) specializes in executing complex terms and conditions agreements. Team members are considered subject matter experts in terms and conditions and negotiations. The SCS Team is committed to enhancing GSC's negotiation and subject matter expertise through strategic and risk-based thinking and education.
As a member of the SCS team, the candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in terms and conditions and contract negotiations within Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems supply chain. The position requires complex negotiations with strategic and critical suppliers to establish favorable contractual positions and settle disputes. The candidate will review, analyze, interpret, and draft tactical and strategic agreements, liaising with the Law Department, Programs, Supply Chain, and Engineering to foster business relationships with our supply base.
In addition to negotiations, the candidate will contribute to GSC's negotiation and subject matter expertise through education and training.
This position requires the ability to balance and influence multiple priorities and individuals. Strong collaboration, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, presentation, and human relations skills are essential. The candidate must provide clear examples of multi-tasking to successful outcomes and demonstrate effective communication and project management skills.

Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $170,300.00. The actual salary will consider factors such as responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, and long-term incentives depending on the position.
