Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist (Band 4) to join the Category Management Team (CMT). The role supports subcontract acquisition, negotiations, and contract administration across multiple sites in hybrid environments, with a strong emphasis on compliance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's (or Master’s) with extensive experience in procurement, FAR/DFAR, and government contracting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 8+ years in Supply Chain/Procurement or related fields, or a Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with MS Office suite and procurement systems is preferred.
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

This position can be located in Linthicum, MD, or Rolling Meadows, IL, or Woodland Hills, CA, or San Diego, CA on a hybrid schedule.Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities will encompass the full range of the subcontract acquisition process including preparation and execution of a mixed portfolio of subcontracts while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will understand the buyer and the seller roles in establishing mutually successful business arrangements, with experiences in work specifications and solicitations/bid packages, proposal evaluation, price and term negotiations, development of contractual documentation and post award administration.Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.Within the CMT organization the candidate will support a team-based organization and perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including but not limited to strategic analysis, complex negotiations, materials planning, procurement execution/award, finance, and internal customer service. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
