Job summary

Apex Clearing Corporation is seeking a Scientist 7 - Sr Principal Scientist to lead as a senior technical lead on multi-million dollar projects and to help drive environmental services initiatives across our growing client base.

You will write and review technical reports, prepare marketing presentations, mentor scientific staff, and contribute to business development while coordinating project management activities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with environmental services including technical writing and providing technical oversight.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead on cumulative project total > $2.5M annually.
• Contribute to successful business development of > $1M annually.
• Write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
• Assist with project management activities.

Your Responsibilities as a Scientist 7 - Sr Principal Scientist:

• Assist with project management activities.
• Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.

What we're looking for:

• BS in related scientific field, Master's preferred.
• Professional accreditation.
• 15+ years of experience with environmental services including technical writing and providing technical oversight.
• Project Management.
• Ability to mentor and train staff.
• Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
• Microsoft 365 / CRM
• Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportationare required.
