This is 100% on-site work.You will be assigned work in the Product Support organization performing System Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Engineering Analysis. You will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and verifying subsystem R&M performance requirements for all design changes and new development efforts to ensure that R&M program requirements are achieved. The primary responsibility of the position will be reliability, maintainability, and testability.Essential Functions:Perform R&M allocations and predictionsDevelop Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) analysisPerform Built In Test (BIT) testability analysisDevelop mission reliability analysisSupport the development of teams in the investigation of issuesFamiliarity with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)Experience with Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)Experience with maintainability demonstrationsExperience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Reliability Growth Testing (RGT), and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)Liaison with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and suppliers for the R&M of assigned subsystemsYou should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. You must be able to collaborate closely with system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers. You may develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs. Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability. Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes. Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Analyze preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives.May develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks. As necessary, propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability. May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing, and specify minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.The individual we seek will be self-motivated, proactive, goal-oriented to help us grow our services, become even better at what we do and will possess the following qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of engineering experience OR Master’s Degree in STEM and 6 years of engineering experience OR PhD with 1 years of engineering experience.Experience in Reliability and Maintainability disciplineYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated US Government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering DegreeMinimum 5 years of experience within Reliability and Maintainability disciplineExcellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and managementActive, In scope US Government Top Secret or SCI clearance#BLUEPrimary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
