Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a finance professional to manage project-level financials and reporting. You will prepare quarterly Estimate at Completion status, forecast margins, and supervise invoicing for multiple programs while maintaining Deltek/Costpoint data accuracy.

You will analyze direct costs, labor hours, and material spend to support corporate requirements. Strong Excel skills, security clearance readiness, and US citizenship are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 12+ years of experience in finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years.
  • Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, lookup functions, and conditional formatting.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present Estimate at Completion financial status in support of Corporate requirements on a quarterly basis.
  • Estimate monthly sales and operating margin by analyzing direct labor hours, raw material dollars, and other direct costs.
  • Assist Financial Shared Services with invoicing.
  • Track and forecast invoice submissions and cash receipts monthly.
  • Manage the day-to-day financial requirements for multiple projects.
  • Work with the program team and support required program meetings.
  • Maintain project detail with Deltek/Costpoint.
  • Support customer required reporting requirements.
  • Forecast and analyze manpower needs based on current and proposed program budgets.

Position Summary
  • Prepare and present Estimate at Completion financial status in support of Corporate requirements on a quarterly basis

  • Manage the day-to-day financial requirements for multiple projects
  • Work with the program team and support required program meetings
  • Maintain project detail with Deltek/Costpoint
  • Support customer required reporting requirements
  • Forecast and analyze manpower needs based on current and proposed program budgets
Basic Requirements
  • Will consider high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 12 years of experience and knowledge of progressive experience in finance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years or Master's degree with 6 years of experience and knowledge of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills, specifically the ability to work with pivot tables, lookup functions, and conditional formatting.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Basic Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
