Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4) to join our team onsite.

This role emphasizes cost and schedule control and requires DoD program experience. The position involves interfacing with business managers, performing EVM-based analyses, and supporting monthly forecasting with opportunities for leadership within a small team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field
  • Master's degree with 3 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, or industry related field
  • Must have an active Government Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs)
  • Must have experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Must have experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm
  • Must have experience with EAC development and analysis
  • Must have experience with SAP and/or Cobra

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a qualified Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. This is an individual contributor role that can be filled at either level.

Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis & prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Be responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Provide internal reporting requirements to include incorporation of forecast, identification of staffing issues related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective action or updates using program reporting tools.
  • This position will interface with Business Managers and support booking rate files and profitability updates.
  • Good leadership skills & the ability to work with the Program Office while leading a smaller team are essential.
  • The successful analyst will possess the following traits and abilities: ability to use financial systems, with understanding of DoD financial rhythms; provide strategic guidance as required; develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity; analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques; work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus; exert influence on peers and internal customers; good interpersonal skills while representing the finance team on various projects.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, or industry related field.

  • Must have an active Government Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Must have experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Must have experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm.
  • Must have experience with EAC development and analysis.
  • Must have experience with SAP and/or Cobra.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing CDRLs (IPMR/IPMDAR/CPR/CFSR/CSDR)
  • Ability to run S4 BW (OLAP) Queries
  • Experience with Excel Macros, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Slicer tools
  • Experience with IFAS/NGFP

Salary

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,000.00 - $115,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $96,200.00 - $144,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
