Sr. Principal Process Engineer - Lebanon API

Join Lilly as a Senior Principal Process Engineer supporting the new API manufacturing facility in Lebanon, IN. This greenfield site offers a unique opportunity to be part of a startup team that will build and optimize processes for GMP manufacturing of API molecules, including new modalities.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring process engineers in batch and continuous API production.
• Applying statistical methods and data analysis to monitor and improve process performance.
• Supporting root cause analysis and process knowledge documentation.
• Ensuring equipment qualification and process safety compliance.
• Leading process optimization, tech transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Process, Chemical, or Biochemical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in API manufacturing operations.

Preferred skills:

• Deep technical knowledge in chemical engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coaching skills.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
