Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal/Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join NGDS. The role focuses on enabling procurement strategies, managing supplier performance, and driving cost-effective material flow across programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (GED) with 9+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's with 5+ years.
• Experience with Government contracting and key business processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Word; able to analyze data and create reports.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Enable procurement strategies for EEE distribution suppliers.
• Manage Open Order Reports with suppliers and keep system records updated.
• Lead supplier issue management, prioritization and expediting with impacted programs.
• Complete SAMS assessments and run Supplier Business Reviews (SBRs).
• Develop relationships with supplier personnel to build partnerships.
• Receive/review requirements for non-standard parts.
• Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Sr. Principal/ Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of diverse professionals in NGDS. Category Management.

Responsibilities:

• Enable Procurement Strategies for EEE Distribution Suppliers
• Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management by working with suppliers to maintain accurate status of open orders through clear notes and date management in the system of record.
• Lead supplier issue management, prioritization and expediting via collaboration with impacted programs.
• Complete quarterly supplier assessments (SAMS) and run Supplier Business Reviews (SBR's).
• Develop relationships with suppliers’ personnel to build better partnerships and explore strategies for a better future.
• Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts
• Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 9 years of relevant experience
• Will consider 5 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree or 3 year of relevant experience with Master's
• Understanding of Government contracting and key business processes and have the ability to contribute to advanced strategy and planning throughout the business process
• Proficient with using Microsoft Excel or Word
• Proactive, self-directed and can take instruction and act
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U. S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 12 years of relevant experience
• Will consider 8 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree or 6 year of relevant experience with Master's
• Understanding of Government contracting and key business processes and have the ability to contribute to advanced strategy and planning throughout the business process
• Proficient with using Microsoft Excel or Word
• Proactive, self-directed and can take instruction and act
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U. S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP MRP experience
• MES Proficiency
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Data Analytics

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
