Responsibilities

• Develops supply chain strategy and leads activities for GSC in all phases of the Northrop Grumman’s program and proposal execution.
• Manages the GSC scope for multifaceted program(s), and proposals through close-out; coordinates interdepartmental activity and integrates efforts across GSC functions.
• Coordinates cross-functionally with all program functions to ensure supply chain commitments are met and mitigation plans are executed.
• Leads supply chain execution and is accountable for integration, resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity and issue management, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
• Aligns project scope and deliverables with customer requirements and works closely with the technical community.
• Briefs the GSCPM on status and issues affecting program performance: Cost, risks and opportunities, and schedule.

• Leads supply chain execution and is accountable for horizontal and vertical integration, resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity and issue management, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
• Aligns project scope and deliverables with customer requirements and works closely with the technical community.
• Demonstrates problem solving skills in supply chain, business management, operations, logistics, engineering, or program management.
• Briefs the GSCPM on the status and issues affecting program performance: Cost, risks and opportunities, and schedule.
• Will be involved in special projects and continuous improvement activities.

Basic Qualifications for the Principal

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain/business management or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or business management
• Experience with ERP systems
• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret government clearance

Preferred Qualifications for the Principal

• Active government Secret Security clearance
• Experience in Earned Value Management Systems
• ASCM/APICS Supply Chain Certifications

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
