About the Role:

This role leverages expertise in Data and Software Engineering, utilizing cloud infrastructure and services to deliver integrated data platforms optimized for analytics and data utilization.

You will have extensive experience with data systems and software development, working on designing and maintaining innovative data platforms focusing on scalability, reliability, performance, and security.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and innovative environment, solving complex problems and creating integrated solutions for our business needs.

Our ideal candidate has deep experience with platforms such as AWS, Terraform, Databricks, dbt, SQL, Monte Carlo, Business Intelligence tools, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

  • Lead design, development, and delivery of high-quality data and software solutions to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand platform requirements and design data platforms and features
  • Maintain high-quality coding standards through peer reviews and best practices
  • Improve operational excellence focusing on security, reliability, and performance
  • Use data-driven approaches to inform decisions and propose technical solutions amid changing landscapes
  • Lead code reviews, documentation, and tackle complex challenges and bug fixes
  • Partner with engineering teams on enterprise initiatives
  • Mentor junior team members and transfer knowledge effectively

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 10+ years in Data/Software Engineering
  • Master's Degree in related fields preferred, with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining data platforms and infrastructure
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services (S3, Lambda, Redshift, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, data governance, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Expertise in technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, Python, dbt, Terraform, Tableau, Power BI, Monte Carlo, Jira, and Confluence
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

The annual base salary ranges from $154,900 to $224,400, with additional bonuses, equity incentives, and benefits including retirement plans, paid leave, and health coverage.
