The Role:
As a core member of the system firmware team, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and development of PCIe solutions for Ampere's platform. Lead the Firmware design and implementation for PCIe Gen6 controllers, PCIe power state management and the MTCP interface for the next generation of Ampere products.

The cutting-edge ARM firmware development work at Ampere is interesting, challenging, and will expand your professional breadth. Working in this area brings out the best engineering in people and produces products that have value in the market. The ARM server firmware/software is relatively new and you will have the opportunity to invent new software technology and influence the ARM server community.
What You Will Do:
At Ampere we believe in taking care of our employees and providing a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, bonus (i.e., variable pay tied to internal company goals), long-term incentive, and comprehensive benefits. The full base pay range for this role is between $169,500 and $282,500, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $178,500 and $297,500.
