This position will be based in Colorado Springs, CO, or Huntsville, AL.

Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, collectively view the battlefield, and dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that provides an optimized response to threats of all ranges throughout all phases of flight. C2BMC acts as a force multiplier, globally and regionally networking and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to enhance performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, verifying and exercising all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
The Interface Engineer will lead the development of ICDs and IDDs, which include establishing new interfaces between external elements, such as sensors, and other Command and Control Systems. The Interface Engineer will ensure that the created ICDs and IDDs meet the appropriate standards required for the program. Additionally, it is expected that the Interface Engineer will develop various behavioral diagrams to understand and document the requirements. This position will be assigned to the C2BMC Systems Engineering Team within SEIT. The Interface Engineer is a Systems Engineer and may occasionally support non-interface systems engineering activities.
Essential Functions:
Salary range in Huntsville: $131,100 - $196,700
Salary range in Colorado Springs: $124,900 - $187,300

Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $196,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
