Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain build and deployment pipelines using Bamboo, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to support CI/CD workflows.
- Develop and maintain processes for DevOps, including software releases, configuration management, data management, automation, and testing.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity to assist in code transfers and merges across networks.
- Collaborate with software development and IT teams to streamline release processes and improve system reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Document processes, configurations, and runbooks for team use.
- Apply security and compliance practices to DevOps activities in accordance with NG standards.
- Define and evolve DevOps roadmap aligned with program needs.
- Maintain clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline with 8 years of related experience; or a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of related experience; or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of related experience.
- More than 5 years of experience in DevOps, site‑reliability, or related engineering roles.
- Experience with Bamboo, GitLab, and/or Jenkins.
- Experience with software testing frameworks.
- Experience with scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within the time required by business needs.
- Must have a DoD 8140 CompTIA Security+ certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
- Awareness of security best practices in DevOps and software delivery.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and basic orchestration concepts.
- A current active in‑scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance with current or previous Special Program Access (SAP)/SCI.
Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 – $213,400.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long‑term incentives at higher levels. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and personal business.
Other Conditions
Relocation assistance may be available. Travel up to 10% of the time may be required.
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
