Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) seeks to find a senior-level DevOps Engineer/Team Lead in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a Ground program.
What you’ll get to do: As a DevOps Engineer on this team, you will lead a DevOps team supporting a CI/CD pipeline in multiple environments. You will also verify and validate requirements for the environments ensuring ATO and maintaining security vulnerabilities software for a Ground Segment. In this role, you will be supporting program leadership and the customer. Ultimately, you will support the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission, ensuring everything is synchronized.
We have multiple DevOps Engineering positions across the Ground program, on contract to deliver the ground segment for a restricted space program. This work will span DevOps, CM processes, ATO, maintaining security vulnerabilities, and system infrastructure. We have anticipated future growth to deliver additional ground capabilities.
The successful candidate will have broad DevOps experience to include Cloud technologies and team leadership skills. They will have the ability to manage changes and present options for managing scope and dependencies to the technical and management teams in concise briefings. The candidate is expected to operate independently with little oversight in a dynamic environment and to be highly self-motivated. The ideal candidate is a leader who excels in keeping the program management and the customer informed. The individual is expected to handle diverse problems with efficiency, finding unique solutions, while working in a very collaborative and fast paced environment that continues to grow.

This position will be located at our Morrisville, NC, or Aurora CO sites. (Compensation varies per location).This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.

Salary Range: $124,900 - $206,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
