Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst for the CIDO Classified Solutions team in Aurora, CO.

This on-site, full-time role focuses on cybersecurity program management and documentation for classified systems. Responsibilities include leading A&A/ST&E activities, monitoring security controls, and preparing artifacts such as SSP and Plan of Action and Milestones, while coordinating with security teams.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant technical experience, or Bachelor’s with 8 years, or Associate’s with 10 years, or HS diploma with 12 years.
  • Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for Sr Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM level II certification (or higher).
  • Must have a current Top Secret/SCI security clearance, including CI-Polygraph.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs during employment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems.
  • Lead regular reviews of system audits and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Assess systems to identify deviations from policy and improve security posture.
  • Analyze and validate security requirements and recommend safeguards.
  • Coordinate A&A documentation and artifacts for government review.
  • Oversee program control processes mitigating risk and supporting A&A.
  • Lead Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) processes with accrediting authorities.
  • Prepare and submit A&A artifacts such as SSP, Risk Acceptance, and RMTT.

Job description

The Sr. Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst position supports information systems lifecycle activities for Northrop Grumman’s CIDO Classified Solutions team. This is an on-site, full-time role in Aurora, CO, focused on cybersecurity program management and the A&A/ST&E documentation and reporting required for classified systems.

Location and Work Setting
  • Aurora, CO (onsite), full-time
  • No virtual or telecommute working options

Travel: 10% of the time

Compensation
  • Primary level salary range: USD 142,200 - 213,400 per year
Responsibilities
  • Manage the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems and perform all cybersecurity-related tasks.
  • Conduct and lead regular reviews of system audits and continuous monitoring activities, covering security controls and configurations to improve the information system security posture.
  • Assess systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
  • Perform analyses to validate security requirements and recommend additional requirements and safeguards.
  • Implement required government policy, provide recommendations on process tailoring, and participate in and document process activities.
  • Establish and oversee program control processes that mitigate risk and support system Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
  • Lead the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) process required by each government accrediting authority, including pre-test preparations, test participation, result analysis, and report preparation.
  • Document A&A and inspection results, including technical or corrective actions, and coordinate with the security team to submit responses to the appropriate cognizant authority.
  • Prepare, review, and submit A&A documentation for review and approval, including artifacts such as the System Security Plan, Risk Acceptance Report, Security Controls Traceability Matrix, and Plan of Action and Milestones.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant technical experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years, OR Associate’s degree with 10 years, OR High School Diploma/GED with 12 years.
  • Must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Sr Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM level II certification (or higher), examples include: CAP or CGRC, CASP+ or CompTIA Security X, GSLC, CISSP-Associate, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO.
  • Must have a current Top Secret/SCI security clearance, including a recent/current CI-Polygraph, to be considered.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.
