Job Overview

Sr. Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – TS/SCI located in Aurora, CO. No relocation assistance. Requires SCI clearance and Top Secret. Travel 10% of the time. Supports information systems lifecycle activities across the DoD and Intelligence Community as part of Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of classified systems and networks within the DoD networking environment or enclave, identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policies, and local policies.
• Establish program control processes to mitigate risks and support certification and accreditation (C&A) of systems.
• Provide support in process analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.
• Assist in implementing required government policy, recommend process tailoring, participate in and document process activities.
• Conduct periodic reviews of audits, monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Provide technical input into Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) preparations, test participation, result analysis, and reporting.
• Document results of C&A activities, produce system security plans, and update Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant technical experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years, OR Associate’s degree with 10 years, OR High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.
• Current DoD8570 IAM levelI security certification (e.g., Security+, CAP/CGRC, CASP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CISSP).
• Current DOD Top Secret/SCI clearance (closed investigation within last 6 years) OR enrollment in DOD Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity with DoD8570 IAM levelIII certification (CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CISSP) and 10 years of experience with C&A and Risk Management Framework.
• Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&M, NIST, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development.
• Active SCI with SAP/SAR access or Polygraph.
