Sr. Principal Antenna Test Engineer - R10191975

Position Overview

This role involves designing antenna test equipment for factory phased array testing, integrating new equipment, developing test software, troubleshooting RF issues, analyzing data, and collaborating with engineering teams. The position begins in Baltimore, MD for approximately one year of training, then relocates to Waynesboro, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and support antenna test equipment for phased array testing
• Integrate new testing equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility
• Develop test software and automate testing processes
• Troubleshoot RF issues during testing
• Support technicians and analyze test data for trends
• Participate in program meetings for root cause analysis and improvements
• Collaborate with design engineering on hardware and test enhancements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field + 8 years relevant experience, or Master’s + 6 years
• Experience with RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
• Proficiency in software development (C++, Python, MATLAB)
• Active DoD Secret Clearance; ability to obtain SAP clearance
• U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF/antenna systems development and testing
• Experience in nearfield antenna range testing
• Knowledge of RF and antenna theory

Additional Details
